My Mission is to raise awareness with my art..

I am nothing if not a dreamer.. It is my hope to be capable of raising awareness and providing a channel through which I can directly contribute toward the search for a cure. I plan to donate at least $1 from every item sold toward one of the various Non-Profit HS Foundations and/or R&D Groups who are willing to work toward the fight against HS. At the end of each year I will select an organization based on their efforts and award them a check for the total donations from that year based on the cumulative sales.

I am but one voice in a sea of sufferers. With my art I hope to empower any individual with the tools to start conversations with those who will listen: doctors, family members and even politicians. I know first hand exactly how hard the prejudices can be to fight when ignorance is to blame. It can be difficult to be recognized when so few have any clue that this disease exists, even less can remember the name, even fewer still the effects on a sufferer's life. To help this I am offering my artwork freely to those who qualify for non-commercial use such as free information kits, HS group info kits and will gladly work with others to create tools such as these. In time I will continue to add new images to each of these series and add more as inspiration motivates. At a point when it is appropriate I have intentions of taking my art on the road with showings and fund raising auctions to benefit HS Charities if life presents such a path. I wish I could give all of the products found on this website away for free...and perhaps some day I will be able to. In the meantime I will do all I can within my financial restrictions, which I am hoping will not always be so tight. I've set no limitations on how I am going to tackle the issues facing fellow HS sufferers. I do know it will be quite the ride and I am just getting warmed up.

I do not represent nor am I directly associated with any foundation and only claim to being an inspired sufferer who feels driven to be pro-active in the search for a cure. I give thanks to my Family & HS Friends, many I've met online through various websites and forums, you are my inspiration and motivating force. From the stories and photos you've shared with me to the uplifting words when HS has me down. Without you all I would still be lost in the sea of depression which rides on the same tides as this disease.

Series II HS Life participation Information

All HS sufferers interested in participating as the subject for an artistic illustration to be included in my second series should send a email to alaric@invisionary.com with the subject Series 2 participation and a brief letter explaining a little about your story to be considered for the HS Life Series projects in the future. Those whose likeness is used I intend to create a special fund for and deposit at least $1 per unit sold using their image inside and will periodically send payments from that fund to help them with their own struggles with HS. I cannot promise this will be a much but it will be my way of trying to further give back to the community that has given me so much love and support already.
